Travel Tips
Hire a registered local guide from the official guide association — unregistered guides can be persistent and misleading. A donation and sarong are required. Be aware that access to inner temple areas is restricted to Hindu worshippers. The road to Besakih winds steeply through highland villages — allow extra travel time.
